At Nana's house the kids practice and acted out the Christmas story. Tyler is quite proficient in his role of Baby Jesus! Ben starred as Joseph and William as one of the Wiseman... all the cousins had a special part as Nana narrated.
Of course- there's always some excitement about Santa, as well. Who was extra nice this year. The boys are now well practiced at their Wii games and I have to admit both the exercise and quiet it provides me with a new little one around is much appreciated. The lego coast guard sets were also big hits and are almost complete- it's amazing how fast they can whip through those complicated steps and sets of directions!
It goes so quickly. Wonderful memories with grandparents and cousins and Aunties and Uncles. I wish these moments could last for longer. That's the meaning of the season- appreciating what we have in each other and the here and now. Our blessings are treasures- pure and simple.
