Bonfire at the Miller's
Fall is in the air. It doesn't get any better than family get-togethers...
Our annual tradition of HotDog roast and Pumpkin carving happened on a beautiful Sunday afternoon this October. It's hard to believe that last year at this time I wore a shirt with a giant pumpkin sketched over my belly where sweet baby Tyler was growing... And NOW look at him go... and grow.

The boys enjoyed their 'dogs, s'mores and a hike down to the Island for some rock-climbing. And of course... their masterpieces. Jack-0-Lanterns. All by themselves (Thank you Pampered chef Safety Knives) with only minimal Mom-help with the Guts.

Feels like Home...
Did you ever come to a place and instantly recognize it as your ‘Ultima Thule,’ the one spot in all God’s world where you belonged- where your roots could go deep into the soil which would forever nourish you, where inspiration and spiritual blessing welled up from the earth to the top of the tallest Tamarack, spread to the encasing bowl of sky, return on every waterway to feed you everlastingly? Such a spot, so it seemed to me, was Priest Lake. ~ Nell Shipman, 1924
