It's hard to believe that Tyler is 5 months today. He is a Roley-Poley and Sitting too! His favorite past-times include sucking on his toes, (Where do they GET that flexibility??) drooling and he especially excels in blowing bubbles. It's
his favorite mode of communication. We have started feeding him "solids" and Tyler is a big fan of both the sweet potatoes and peas that he has tried already. And yesterday we all decided that we can say he is officially sitting up on his own. It's going WAY TO FAST!
Other Spring events included Bloomsday. Ben, Grampy and I cruised through the 7 1/2 mile course in 1:16. Okay, Ben cruised. Grampy and I kept up. Without his ol' Mom Ben could have easily finished 2-3 minutes earlier. And William finished with Grammy in 2:09. Awesome! They ran down the hills and had m&m's at each mile marker and most importantly... had a great time. We were so proud of our boys! [There are pics from the Bloomsday race at the website: http://www.racephotos.net/ ] And then there's soccer. And More soccer. And did I mention a soccer Tournament this weekend?

Mother's day was so delightful. I got spoiled with breakfast in bed. Ben and Will made awesome huckleberry toast which was sprinkled throughout the covers by the end and Mick made the eggs and bacon... and best of all fixed the espresso machine that went on the fritz. THANK HEAVENS for that! We went to mass and worked in the yard and Tyler tried out his new bike carriage/stroller set-up as we rode ALL the way to Beneditos for a delish pizza dinner and stopped 1/2 way up the hill at The Scoop for a bit of ice cream to help us power up the rest of the way! I love my boys! It's nice to feel like The Princess every once in a while!
God has blessed us. Not a day goes by when I don't stop to pause and relish "the moments." If only we could slow things down.
