A whirlwind of family and friends and cards and pressies. We went to mass on Christmas Eve with my Aunt and Uncle and their family at St. Joseph Church where I grew up and Mick and I were married. Although we were e-a-r-l-y, there were about 100+ church-goers who were there Earlier and we got seats... but they were literally Front and Center. We were sitting adjacent to the alter scary close to the rather enormous baptismal font. Lucky for us, it was not filled with water. It was however a fun place to throw cheerios if you're a one-year-old.
When you are a boy and revel in the lore of Santa... Christmas morning can never come soon enough. Footballs and legos and a model-car-set-to-do-by-yourself, a new farm for Ty, a Fish! and a last minute request for a remote-control car.
And did I say football??
We enjoyed the traditional Christmas Eve morning scones at Grandpa Rich and Grandma Laurie's with the cousins.
So much fun. This snowman was about the most snow that we had this year, however. It was obviously a hot item.
And then after Christmas Eve Mass, we headed up to my Aunt Sue and Uncle John's for an awesome Prime Rib dinner and fun carols and the One Present Christmas Jammies.
The kids snuck in extras from the Miller clan! Loved the crazy glasses and Chinese yoyo's.
And then after all our Santa gifts and family gifts Grammy and Granpy came over for their Christmas fun!
